I got no puns for this one xD
A Pinkie Pie wallpaper done in the same style as the Rarity one I did previously.
However, I think this falls short, it lacks the same flow that the Rarity one did, I originally made this one as a test to see whether a series of the wallpapers would work, and it's affirmed my original standing that I should try to keep each wallpaper unique instead of creating a series.
HOWEVER, I really love working with this style, so if I ever hit a dry spell with ideas, I may make another in this 'Simple' style, if you like this style, type that shit out in the comments, I need to know if you lot find this aesthetically pleasing.

I do not own Pinkie Pie, My Little Pony or any associated products, they belong to Hasbro, Lauren Faust and any third parties.
What is done right in this picture is placement, complementary colors and the tone it all sets. Having Pinkie to one side of the image rather than in the center lets the viewer's eyes focus on her while simultaneously allowing them to appreciate the rest of the image. Combining her placement with the lower end of the pink segment, as well as the darker one, along with her cutie mark floating by her head makes for a thematic connection rather than a disjointed flow.
The gradient used on the pink plays excellently as a complement to the shades of white and grey at the bottom of the image as well, with the simplistic dots of brighter pink lending a whimsical feel to the image overall, as well as representing Pinkie Pie's bubbly and happy personality.
The fading lines on the border where the two colors meet help the image to merge in a way that is both contrasting, yet also subtle; smooth and yet solid. It seems almost as if a wallpaper is being torn away in one sense, yet also as if it a cloud of whimsical thoughts above Pinkie's head and not even on the same plane as the white and grey.
Put simply, this image's own simplicity goes leaps and bounds toward making it a fantastic piece, both as a computer's wallpaper or a standalone piece. Excellent flow for the viewer to follow and take in, with no undue focus put on Pinkie as opposed to the image as a whole.
