Cloudsdale Sunset by PhantomBadger Cloudsdale Sunset by PhantomBadger
This here is a quick little wallpaper I threw together to kill time and try out Photoshop CS6 (Yup, finally upgraded).
I wanted to try experimenting more with colours in general, and so chose a lot of warmer colours and tones.
I know it isnt the best thing ever, but I quite enjoy the warm overtones, and I love the scene the vector is taken from.

The vector of Cloudsdale is by the amazing :iconproenix: thanks a lot :D

I do not own Cloudsdale, MLP or any associated products, they belong to Hasbro, Lauren Faust and any third parties.

Vectoring is a tad different in CS6, which you may have noticed that already. But mother of god, folders with effects has me addicted. I can't believe I was using CS3 until this year XD

Very impressive. *Peewee jumps on a cloud and drops through with a very loud surprised squeak before flying back up in a miniature red biplane, sticking his tongue out at the cloud* I'm sure :iconexplainablechaos: will be by soon to comment. In that case... *Puts out snacks for :iconexplainablechaos: as Peewee flies by, staring at it* No. You find your own snacks Peewee. *Peewee flies toward a candy shop*

I go between CS3 at home and CS6 at school, and honestly, I still can't find any differences between them. Just more tools that I haven't had any use for as of late.

I've been after the change to the Eyedropper tool since I started, You can dither on Gradient layer styles, you can apply layer styles to folders, and it has support for 3D shit, is what i've noticed so far c:

lol I only just found out a few days ago when I noticed the drop down menu.

As for the other things, I can't say I've ever given them a try. Maybe on Monday I'll check them out.
